WASTE WATER REUSE
Nowadays, water is a limiting factor in meeting the needs at the domestic, agricultural and industrial levels. It is well known that the availability of fresh water is decreasing in the face of growing needs and the constant pollution of available water sources.
In order to harmonize supply and demand and thus meet water needs, it is imperative to use alternative water sources which, with appropriate treatment, can achieve the quality necessary for the purpose for which they are intended. In one residence, about half of the water used does not need to be potable, and in an industry the needs of drinking water are much lower, so the use of rainwater, gray water and the reuse of water from industrial processes makes perfect sense.
