The oil separating chambers consist of pre-treatment equipment for the separation of fuels and oils present in the washing waters from car workshops, car parks, garages, trucking centers, etc.
Operation
In the oil separator, the effluent enters a first compartment where the particles are sedimented and decanted, also larger hydrocarbon will rise to the surface. Next, the effluent will go to a second compartment through one or more coalescing filters. These filters are intended to agglomerate the small particles of most hydrocarbons, thereby facilitating its rise to water slide. The discharge is equipped with an automatic shut-off system, ensuring that the separated hydrocarbons will not leave the treated effluent, complying with the emission limit of D.L. 236/98 of 1 August.
Features
They are made of high density polyethylene, resistant to corrosion.
